Production
|
|
| Our beds are hand-made on the
premises at the Not Just Beds factory, in Christchurch. We
manufacture all our products to the highest standards, using
only the best materials. We welcome your visit to our
factory showroom, to see your bed in production; our
location details can be found on our about
us page. |
|
With the exception of the Scarfie
and Trundler
beds, all our beds use the metal interlocking bracket joints
which are pictured at right. These brackets are very sturdy
and each takes only 5 seconds to fasten. This means that you
can quickly and easily assemble your bed, and take it apart
again, whenever you require.

For ease of transport, all our beds (except the Scarfie
and Trundler
models, which assemble differently) come in the following
components:
-
2 side rails
-
2 centre rails
-
slats, in 2 sections
-
head, and
-
foot.

All our beds are available with flexible slats,
and we also stock a wide range of accessories.
Our beds are stained and lacquered in golden brown, teak, rimu
and walnut. The rimu products are oiled and waxed.
Our pine furniture is made from kiln-dried,
untreated timber. We can give our bunks, beds and daybeds a clear lacquered
finish after they have been stained in the colour of your
choice.
The average bed height is 35 to 40 cm. from
floor; however, we can custom make your bed to be higher or
lower if you require. Please let us know when ordering.
We also convert waterbed frames and old wire wove
beds into flexible slat or straight slat beds; please contact
us if you are interested in having this done to your old
bed.
Everything we sell has a twelve month
warranty. If you have any further questions about the
production of our beds, please contact
us. |
